DICK, KERR LADIES 1920 – 1951

Lily Parr, born in 1905, defied the football ban and became a symbol of women’s football. She scored hundreds of goals in her impressive thirty-year career with the Dick, Kerr Ladies team. She helped pioneer international competition in the 1920s and 30s.
